LFTL - Spotlight
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for.”
Hebrews 11:1
No doubt, missionaries of previous generations expressed their faith by praying and hoping for the day that doors would open to the gospel around the world. It was hope that motivated these heroes to believe that the iron curtain would crumble one day. Hope preceded what is now known as the former Soviet Union. Hope was the forerunner to Assemblies of God missions presence in more than 200 nations around the world.
This the day that was once a glimmer of hope in the hearts of past messengers. We are the Matthew 24 generation. This gospel of the kingdom is being preached in all the world.
Now, I have a hope. I hope for the day when we will provide every resource that our missionaries need to take full advantage of these open doors. I hope for the completion of the Great Commission. LFTL can and must be that “substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” The faith and faithfulness of Councilmen like you can easily turn this hope to reality.
